There is No Generation Gap
From the desk of Dr. Zalman

8/18/2009

In response to Richard Dooling’s NYT Aug 19, 2009 Op-Ed “Health Care’s generation Gap” in which he opines that “We spend too much on the old, and not enough on the young” Dr. Zalman responds that the problem is that we have our fiscal priorities screwed up. We are not spending enough on either the old or the young, he says, rather too much profit is going for medical devices, administration and proprietary drugs.
